The Harry Family in the United States of America centered around Alma, Buffalo County, Wisconsin in the United States of America after Viktor Heri and Maria Berni immigrated with their two children, Johann and Ferdinand (Fred), from the Kanton of Solothurn in Switzerland in 1852. Family records in Switzerland date as far back as 1623. Today this branch of the family is spread across the United States of America as well as present in other countries.

We are currrently re-building the website- recreating the database on members of the family and the narrative history which was published in 1998. An important part of making this a ‘family website’ will be the imput from the various branches. Family members from any of the branches are welcome and encouraged to build pages which can then be linked to this site. In that way, we will build a true Harry – Heri Family web.

Other new sections we hope to create and keep updated are: a ‘news desk’ with information about various family members, including births, marriages, deaths; regular updates about the preparations for the 2005 Family Reunion; and a memorial section. Perhaps we would like to create a e-zine to keep family members in touch. Anything is possible. We are only limited by time. Volunteers are certainly welcome!!!
